Mystery Painting...started!

Okay, so it's been a while. Household busy, and held up by a terrible case of the flu. Finally back to what I love--ART! Okay, I teased you (whoever that may be...) with a "mystery painting " a while back. I've finally started it officially! Bet ya can't guess what it is??? Ha Ha. It's for a friend of mine, and my new boss--I started working at a dog grooming shop and boutique with 2 dear friends of mine! It's been fun! Her shop is named "Christopher's Place" and the painting, is of course, the late Christopher.

Oh--Indie project: No update--still need to trade with another artist. Will trade next week. Stay tuned!

Friend, where do you draw your source of energy from? Do you think about your canvas and will become of it before, or do you let your hand create? You are fabulous at what you do, I love it, love it, love it! ~Dannielle

Jaime--I worked for HOURS trying to figure out how to make my blog "designed" and cute! There was a lot to learn, and I am happy to share it with you! If ya want, lets set up a time, and I will show you some tricks.

Dannielle--Most of the stuff that I create I have inspiration before hand. For instance, the internet is a great resource. I will google an idea I have, or sometimes if I have no clue, I will just start nosing around some sites that are creative or artistic in some way. Then something will spark an idea, and I will then move it in a direction that makes it my own. A lot of times though, I do much better painting from "life" which usually comes in the form of a photograph (Ie, the recent painting of "Christopher"). But layout and technique are what gives it the artist a personal flair. THANK you so much for looking at my blog!!
